Hello,

I am not a dsp enginneer, so I am just starting with playing with this
tool...
and I was wanting to add fldigi an amtor decoder.
so I think it should be the appropriate list.
I use a java decoder to test my collected sample (
www.frisnit.com/*navtex*/?id=decoder
)
I try to understand this mode but according to wikipedia, it's rtty based:
AMTOR improves on RTTY by incorporating error
detection<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Error_detection>. it' s 170 Hz
carrier
100 bauds, on 7 bits codes.
I find out the code (
http://xoomer.virgilio.it/ham-radio-manuals/scanning/Digitalsignalsfaq.html
).
and ok I say ready to play with fldigi, let's decode in rtty 7bits the
signal ,
pass to bits level, decode and see, what s characters get out of it ...
but did not work, a lot of garbage ....
some are not 3 1s and 4 0s,
characters do not repeat (every 5 car.), etc...
I imagine using rtty is then not the good idea, or am i missing something (
i tryied all possibility with stop bits as well) .
thanks in advance
Gabriel
