Maybe my problem was a fluke...
I remembered that I just uploaded my complete log to LoTW, so I
had another clean copy in another directory I was using for that
upload. I copied that file into the Fldigi log directory, opened
it, and closed and opened Fldigi many times with no problems to
the log file. I can't explain the problem, and can not duplicate
it.
Otherwise, everything seems to be working normally. Sorry for the
false report.

I'm sorry to report that I installed version AM, and immediately
noticed that my log file had dual entries in it. Every entry of
the almost 1000 entries was duplicated. Then I closed it and
opened it again, and now there are three entries per entry. I
opened the .adi file in a text editor, and sure enough my log file
is defective.
Oops - I forgot to back up my log file prior to testing. Bad
practice on my part!
I need to find a utility to strip duplicate entries. Suggestions
anyone?
