I have tried this on my FT-2000 and it seems to be working fine. I had
changed the radio menu defaults (mainly CAT TOT) and now have them back
to the defaults. I have struggled in the past with Hamlib for fldigi.
Although I have had it work at times, I had been using RigCAT as it
seemed to work better. I'll be using Hamlib for the time being.

Setting the values in Fldigi as noted above will override the backend
defaults so that an updated Hamlib is not necessary to improve
performance of these radios with Fldigi. So this should work with the
most recent stable versions of Fldigi and Hamlib.
I encourage owners of these radios to try these values with the Hamlib
backend and provide feedback.
