Dave, Still have not found the pot of gold at the end of the browser rainbow... The interaction between the squelch in the main window and the squelch in the browser window is still there. Can you break the browser dependancy to the main-window squelch setting? By "messing with" the two settings, I can kind of get it to work, but it still misses some nice strong signals as before. In the old browser, just sliding the browser squelch up and down worked perfectly, and was independant of the main-window squelch setting. This is the way I think it should be.
