Remi, In the example, I think the X1 was for you to type in the exchange required for the contest. For example, if the contest exchange is for RST,,serial number and state I would type in TX (for Texas) rather than X1. The Xchng in: is where you log your report or the incoming exchange. If you were working me and I sent you a 599 302 TX report, you would log the TX in the Xchang in box. Most of us do it by right clicking on the exchange and selecting the exchange.
