Ok, but what about the fact that when he opens the second message, the first one is deleted (as in, no longer exists in the file system).

I can open several instances of flmsg on my mini-mac but must do so from a command line terminal (which many OS X users are loath to do even though the underlying operating system is BSD Unix).
