Good news and bad news with the new Kenwood TS-590S firmware version 1.0.3 See this link for the changes

It was my default for Rig Control before the update and after the update I cannot get it to initialize. Good News: Hamlib not only works but fldigi-3.21.7 now displays both VFO's. I was trying to work a DX station on RTTY and it was nice to see fldigi display the frequency for both VFO's.
