EA1DPP wrote to my about his setup and problems with fldigi, now all
problems are solved, (install & language issues)... but one.
This one, is imposible to my to try at this moment, he has a RigExpert
Interface with many ttyS via USB (Serial ports), one for normal digital
PTT, other for CAT and other that he want to use it for CW/FSK(RTTY)
keying of his TRX.
I think that he is not alone thinking in a setup like this, either
owning a rigexpert interface and dreaming with a easy solution to this.
As I'm not a lucky RigExpert owner, I ask the comunity for a easy
solution/setup to his 'dream', (if such thing as easy solution exists...)
Or .... a software solution for use another ttyS (Serial Port) for
CW/FSK keying
I'm thinking on a check box in the CW & RTTY for enable/disable this
feature and a drop box menu for selecting a diferent ttyS (Serial Port)
for this task; may be a new tab on this modems called "Hard Keying"?,
may be in side this tab/options a signal chooser for the keying function
(DTR,RTS, TRX, etc)
So... pro, cons... anything idea is welcome...
