I have an issue which I would like to address. I have about 30,000 QSOs in the log. Yes I worked a lot of digital stations in my time. Now when I finish a qso and auto log to:
<CALL> de <MYCALL> ar sk <RX> <LOG> The delay is getting painfully slow. It is taking about six seconds from the time I push the macro button to when the macro appears on screen and transmits. So I sort of have this delay when saying goodbye at the moment. I understand that I have a whole lot of QSOs but is there a way to speed it up or at least save to the log when the transmit hits the <log> rather than the six second delay to institute the macro into the buffer? If there is a solution to this that I am missing I sure would like to hear it. And if it can't be fixed or fully down at the bottom of the list of things to fix I understand... I probably have more QSOs than most. However this delay has been getting worse and it doesn't seem to be exponential according to the number of QSOs... It just seems to go from acceptable to way too long.
