You can get clients for linux, Windows Mac and for your Android and likely other smart phones. The online storage shows up as a 'folder' on your system, making it very simple to use. It also works like a local directory for linux so ~/Dropbox as an example is where you can just copy files you want to save. Basically you set up multiple clients and they can all get to the same files. You can also share out files to other people by setting the file permissions and sharing links. With 2GB, it's plenty of space for configuration files and things like logbooks or other plain text files. Just be sure to encrypt anything like a passwords collection. This also shouldn't be your only copy in case you don't have connectivity or the service ever goes down.
