I don't think everybody needs an account, but if you're planning to publish blog posts and you're a PPMC member feel free to request one. If you already have an account on another blogs.apache.org blog I can grant you access to the Flex one. For now, I'd suggest reviewing blog posts here with 24 hours lazy consensus ("if no one opposes within 24 hours I'll post this") before posting. -Bertrand
