Serious question: What is the intent of the flex-users list? -1
Not to be rude, but don't we already have enough noob forums? Do we need yet another? I agree it WOULD be nice to have a congregation of users in a central location, but what's the likelihood of that? With forums like kirupa.com, actionscript.org, and even the likes of stackoverflow.com - they're WAY more advanced than a mailing list would be; why would a user switch? I could see the flex-users group helpful for some support; along the lines of "The Button component isn't validating properly in this use-case, can someone help me verify this?" And other users assist to turn it into a legitimate, testable, and reproducible bug. Not so much of the "How do you set the color of a button" variety. ... But maybe that's just me?
