I doubt it and given the resources we have I don't think it is likely we
will test all combinations, especially on both platforms.

I suggest we pick a few "reference" combinations which we test and
document in the README.  The others ones are likely to work.  This is a
open source project so I think that is ok.  I don't think it is okay for
the installer to offer all combinations because that does imply they have
all been tested.
