Well, 3.x has been an one man team plus all patch from community, so best and fastest way to get something done is doing yourself and just sending me the patch.
Just keep in mind that I won't apply anything that gets attached to jira... doing all kind of unrelated changes, reformatting code, massive refactories ( specially w/o telling me why ) did prevent many patchs from being applied. Still, all contribs are more then welcome. And if someone is missing anything docs, keep in mind that wiki is public editable.
