Velo, I pulled the 3.x trunk (3.8-SNAPSHOT) and built it on my Ubuntu machine at home and still get the same error.
I ran the debugger and I don't see anything odd happening with the setExternalLibraryPath and addExternalLibraryPath calls. Tomorrow I will try this on Windows and see what happens. Its possible there is a problem with my Maven repository but I am hitting the error with both 3.2, 3.4 and 4.0 compilers. I don't want to waste your time so don't worry... I will keep looking for the problem. If you happen to think of any ideas let me know and I will try them. Thanks!
