I'm talking about the ability to browse the sources of the framework
swcs from Flash Builder, when using an SDK from a maven repo.
The framework source files are packaged as jar files, which Flash
Builder does not seem to support. I believe that IDEA will support them.
If you manually extract the sources from the jars in your local repo to
a directory then set the source attachment path to that directory then
that works. This may well become the basis of some kind of work around
script unless anyone has any other suggestions!.
If you generate a Flex Bulider project then you are correct, your
generated project will indeed gain a reference to both your installed
sdk AND the sdk in Maven. This doesn't seem to happen if you generate a
flexmojos:flashbuilder project though, you only get references to the
swc files in your repo. You still won't be able to browse the sources
out of the box though ;)
