I've found that Adobe tends to be more responsive to bug reports
during the early and public betas of their flex stuff - after a
release happens it's almost as if they don't care about the bugs at
all and are only focused on the next release - but during the early
betas I've noticed them actually looking at bug reports as they come
in.

FWIW, I might be able to at least get the issue in front of the right
developers through some friends of mine - is the specific issue that
the ADT.jar now contains lots of GPL bytecode? (Are you referring to
how it was compiled or something else, specifically?)

Right now MAX is going on - so pretty much every adobe engineer that
is worth anything is busy socializing with the crowds. It doesn't
surprise me that they wouldn't be responding actively to emails when
they are busy mingling with crowds... etc.

I know Adobe doesn't seem to care about Maven at all - but I know a
lot of developers have been hounding them about making the Flex stuff
work better with maven. Whether or not they listen is another issue.
For them to not fix something that prevents third party people from
doing their maven work for them would be really dumb on their part - I
would be surprised if they don't fix it.

If you let me know in more specifics what the nature of the problem
with ADT.jar is and what you want adobe to do differently to fix it, I
can file a bug report for it and nudge the people I know to try to get
them to look at it quickly.
