Update: I've installed the third party swc libraries into the local .m2 repository, and getting a lot further in the swf build. Current compile issue is probably related to the Flex SDK version, and I'll revisit that.
I'm currently investigating the html-template issue and see a number of posts on it in the group, still reading. In summary: ejb, war, ear, swc, swf generated from archetype all compile fine with maven and no source code. Added ejb source code and runtime dependencies and ejb compiles. Working on swf compile. I have a copy of the EAR that is currently deployed and working on JBoss AS 5.1.0, so it will be a simple matter to verify the packaging of the maven build is correct. Getting it correct is going to be the difficult part.
