Hi FlexMojos !
Yeah I know you talked about missing locales already in the past, when
SDK 4.0.0 was released :
http://groups.google.com/group/flex-mojos/browse_thread/thread/90499b096b126ad/9fe4b8149bffd4c2?lnk=gst&q=missing+locales#9fe4b8149bffd4c2

However, my question is a bit more general this time :
My application is built in 10 languages, most of them are fully
supported by the classic Flex 4.5 SDK (en_US, fr_FR, sv_SE...), and
some are not, like pl_PL (polish).

Till now, the Flex part of the application is built thanks to Ant and
a SDK which is manually deployed on our Hudson server. Thanks to the
awesome "copylocale" tool that is embedded with the SDK, it's a piece
of cake to add extra locales in this SDK (I just copy the en_US one,
for that matters)

Yet I am now studying the possibility to migrate my projects to Maven
with your FlexMojos plugin. So far I reckon that you've done a
rockstar job, my swcs and swfs gets compiled without too much pain.
Real issues come with resource bundles compilation:

Like everyone with flex-mojos I use the SDK version that is installed
in the sonatype repo (4.5.1.21328) and of course this version doesn't
know about my polish locale. It turns out that it doesn't know much
about the more frequent spanish locale either (es_ES). And so my build
breaks saying :

[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.sonatype.flexmojos:flexmojos-maven-
plugin:4.0-RC2:compile-swc (default-compile-swc) on project [MY
PROJECT]: Execution default-compile-swc of goal
org.sonatype.flexmojos:flexmojos-maven-plugin:4.0-RC2:compile-swc
failed: Missing resource bundle 'com.adobe.flex.framework:flash-
integration:rb.swc:es_ES:4.5.1.21328'

You've probably guessed my question by now : What do you recommend to
allow my projects to be built against unsupported locales ? Is it
possible to create a kind of "install_locale" task that will add a
locale to the sdk in the local repo ? Do I have to install my own sdk
into Maven (please say no) ? Should I manually install my bundles into
the repo with "mvn install" ?

Do I have to stick with Ant a bit more ?

Thanks
Matt
