property, the datagrid only showing some of the columns makes no difference.

Assume I have a query being bound to a datagrid. This query has 5 columns,
but I'm only showing 4 that I define with datagridcolumn tags. I want to
access the 5 item though. Is that possible somehow? Do I perhaps have to
save my data (the result of a WS call) somewhere else first?
