Someone has requested that I start a Flex User Group for the SF Bay Area. How many people here are in the area and if you are, do you think you would attend? If you are not in the area and you could view our meetings online, would you attend?
It seems like SF would be the perfect place to start a Flex UG; I'm just wondering how interested other people are. My main concern is finding volunteers who would be willing to help organize things, since I already run the CF user group in the area. We are in the process of changing the CFUG website to eliminate some of the work that I have to do for the group, but running a second group by myself under current work level would be pretty difficult. I am currently considering meeting sites in SF and in the South Bay/Penninsula and I'm open to suggestions. SF seems like a natural choice since the Flex Team works at our potential meeting site.
