Yes you should keep internal things as public or package. That way you can let CF do the blocking. However, if the method needs to be remote, make it remote. You don't have make a facade just to expose the CFC as remote, especially if the CF lives under the web root. Facades can be really useful, but you don't have to use them for all remote methods. ---nimer
