Since the license for FlexBuilder standalone works seamlessly as a license for the plugin, I reinstalled FlexBuilder as a plugin to my existing Eclipse installation and it works fine. Thank you for the feedback, especially Mark Drew.

Mark is the gentleman who provides us with this excellent CFEclipse plugin. As far as I know there is no benefit to Flex Builder in standalone installation. Flex Builder standalone ignores any patches and updates to the eclipse platform that it is built on. --- Ariel Jakobovits <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > is anyone running cfeclipse in flex builder standalone? --- Mark Drew <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > This is what I replied earlier today with regards to these errors to > the cfeclipse list: > > Thing is.. right... that if you have a standalone installation of > FlexBuilder or Aptana and making CFEclipse compatible is pretty > annoying, I would have to start doing the following: > > > Check CFEclipse functionality against: > Normal Eclipse > FlexBuilder > Aptana > MyEclipse > > for each version of... > > Eclipse 3.1.0 > Eclipse 3.1.2 > Eclipse 3.2.0 > Eclipse 3.2.1 > Eclipse 3.2.2 > > Running on... > > Windows XP/2000 > Windows Vista > OS X > Linux (whichever versions) > > So that is > 4 x 5 x 4 = 80 different platforms I would have to check against!!! > (ok, roughly ... depends) > > Then, this summer (havent checked when) Eclipse 3.3 comes out... > woohoo!
