Is it possible to map a drive letter to your coldfusion server? even if on a remote LAN, you could use something like Webdrive to get through firewalls. That is easiest way I have found to manage remote server projects.
Installing CF on the local development machine is a real easy way to go too. Comes in real handy if you develop on a laptop and may not always have net access to remote servers. Just make sure you install 7.0.2 or 8. In either case the developer version is free to use. Welcome to the list.
