You can do it this way however I wanted an environment that mimics our
2 CF Servers with the same directory structure and software versions.
Also since I test a lot of software to support 36 K-12 School
Districts I am always finding myself re-formatting my hard drive and
reinstalling every 4 - 6 months and going the VMWare method I can
backup the image file and move it to a new computer or new hard drive
without having to reinstall all of that software each time. Doing it
this way has saved me approx 8 hours of M$ Security Updates
