Is there a way to back up my settings though? Projects, SVN, etc?

I'm sure I had this happen t me once before - I cannot recall how I resolved
it.

TBH a reinstall is not that bad, I lost count how many times I did that
during the Flex 3 Beta. I'd say just do that and chances are it will fix
your issue.
