This post may be a bit off topic, but I figured this would be the best place to ask.
I currently have a situation where a dashboard product produced with flex is, for some reason, is competing against the idea of Xcelsius as a replacement. Basically the application that we currently have is running on CF/Flex and contains a few basic charting elements and ADGs with LDAP security, tree control navigation, and some cfreport components. The dashboard requires that each organizational unit be given access to their reports plus subordinates. From what I have read thus far Xcelsius can perform these operations, but it is seriously lacking in the functionality department from some of the implementations that I have seen up to this point. My question is simply, should the client be persuaded against the Xcelsius solution? If so, why? Keep in mind that I am a complete noob when it comes to Xcelsius. Also keep in mind that the client really doesn't care that their field operatives have a working application that they currently love. Thanks in advance for any information or links to information that you can provide.
