Save? as in save in a xml file or shared object? Or you want the text formating done in the rich text editor to be applied to your actual text. If that is the case, then you can bind the htmlText property of your text component on stage to the htmlText property of rich text editor.
If you want the changed to be displayed at a later session then you can save the formatted htmlText in your xml or shared object. To get more clarity its better you put ur code on this post.
