Hi all , pls send me guidelines & implementation of Global file system. The idea of Global file system is to utilise the hard disk memory effectively say in an organization.Logically,suppose there is some space in my hard disk in this way in many pc's i can gather all this spaces & create a bigger hard disk.our motto is to create a global pool shared storage. And we need to assign memory to each drive. for ex:one person is working on windows1- XP which has c:\share1( 1 GB) and windows2-vista which has c:\share2(500MB) and windows3-NT which has c:\share3(250MB) etc.
Normally in this,there are 2 xml structures.one is master xml which contains hostname,drive,size. second is xml structure which contains all the files like username,file,host,disk. and if add any file or do any modification in second xml,it should get updated in master xml. Interface is purely in Flex.
