Yes, is not a long number, is a long string.

            var byteArr:ByteArray;
            base64Dec = new Base64Decoder();
            base64Dec.decode(logo);
            byteArr = base64Dec.toByteArray();
            imagen.load(byteArr);
}

my idea  is to:
make a people search (not a problem for me). My problem will be to populate
the datagrid or the tilelist with my custom component and all the custom
component with the information of the webservice. Also I want to decode each
image on the <mx:Image> on my custom component.
As soon as I complete a little bit my code, I will send it to you
