Hi, I think it is not able to find the element in the drawFocus method. Inside your overridden drawFocus() method, just check if the controls you are accessing are available and are != null.
If doing this doesn't solve your problem, paste your code here or if possible upload the entire project somewhere with ViewSource enabled..
