in UK. Our company provides services like Product Development &
Testing, Strategic Outsourcing, Offshore and On-site Development &

Application Development & Testing, System Integration, Embedded

of engineers who are executing projects in-house and on-site at our
clients place, the team is strongly growing month-on-month.

1) End-To-End Delivery on development and testing by deploying our
team at your premises.
2) Taking part of the delivery process (Development or Testing or

3) Taking ownership and executing the project at iFocus premises (Off-
shore model).

Currently we are working towards diversifying our business into

Product marketing and support in the areas of Networking, Storage,
Virtualization, Security, Testing, Automation for India.
All the following thee (Sl. No. 1 to 3) positions are with a large
consumer electronics company (MNC) in Bangalore. The company’s
software development centre is near to Koramangala.
These positions are readily available and the selected personnel are
expected to join at the earliest. These are all permanent positions
with the company.
1. JAVA Tech Architect (minimum 6 years’ experience. Candidates
having 10, 11+ years of experience can also apply as this is a senior
level position), 1 position
• At least 1-2 years experience as an architect in JAVA technologies
(J2EE)
• Must have expertise in frameworks such as Spring/Struts
• Strong understanding of Hibernate/Ibaits/Toplink
• Must have expertise in Swing/JSF or Tapestry
• Should have exposure to front-end, middleware & back-end
• Should be thorough with design patterns (with relevant project
experience)
• Should be good in Web Services, Object Oriented Design
• Excellent analytical & communication skills
• A good track record is mandatory (not too many job switches, should
have worked in well known companies etc)

Requirements:
Should have very good knowledge of Action Script language.
Minimum experience required is around 3 years but more number of years
of experience is better.
5. Senior Reliability Engineer
This is permanent position with a software company.
Responsibilities
• Provide subject matter expertise to product development teams in the
area of software reliability methods and techniques, fault prevention,
fault removal, fault tolerance and fault prediction.
• Directly participate in specification, design, and implementation of
software systems with an emphasis on strategies/tactics to ensure
reliability, including robust error detection, handling and correction
with an emphasis on HW/SW interface points.
• Responsible for facilitating and driving software reliability
initiatives at the project level and system wide; ensuring
specification requirements are met and necessary quality levels are
achieved before product implementation.
• Work closely with software and product engineering to review
requirements specification documents and software design
specifications to produce software reliability plans providing a
comprehensive understanding of verification and validation
requirements.
• Provide creative new methods and ideas for influencing software
reliability, developing initiatives to improve the software
reliability process.
• Lead in product development teams in the execution of the software
reliability process throughout the product development process,
providing recommendations to improve reliability and resolve
conflicting requirements, as well as assessment, tracking, and
measurement of software reliability.
• Mentor and teach the global engineering organization about software
reliability processes and tools and their application to the Design
for Reliability process in order to raise the awareness level and
competence of the business and institutionalize best practices.
• Developing, prioritizing and implementing reliability projects.
• Identify, implement, collect, track, and analyze key reliability
performance indicators (e.g., Mean Time To Recovery, Mean Time To
Failure, etc.) relevant to software reliability and availability.
• Identifying needs for and implementing RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
Qualifications
• MS in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer
science, and 8+ years relevant experience in software reliability
engineering on medium to large scale projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in "state of the art" principles, methods and
techniques for software reliability engineering including prediction
models, operational profiling, reliability measurement and analysis,
fault tolerance techniques, fault tree analysis and reliability
simulation.
Desired
• Ph.D. in Systems or Reliability Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge and use of 6-Sigma methodologies.
