Hi Jesse For Play video in loop or next according to xml node you can use:-
Metadata Class in AS3. With help of Metadata you can find out all information related to video.Also you get duration of video. So you can use Timer class for find out how much you video play and remain.And when your video duration equal to your playing time. node value will increase and next video start.
