Thanks for the reply. But i think your approach won't solve the
problem because if u specify the sortfield as the MonthName then it
would obviously sort it alphabetically and then we are back to the
above stated problem. I want that flex should not sort the data from
my XML file alphabetically.Rather it should maintain the same order as
in the original XML file which is : Jan-Feb-Mar....
