Hi, flex can't access database by itself. You need to develop a WebService o something in your prefered server-side language (php, java, asp, etc) , and then use it from flex using HTTPService or WebService class. Well, that's the short version.
I've developed a wrapper classes to use webservices, if anyone is interested just send me an email.
