To handle such sort of issues, you can use sqllite database to store the values and actions changed in the application. When you have closed the application you can delete all the saved entries in the sqllite database , if the application has crashed without saving the changes, Again when you start the application you can check the sqlite database with the action and the values, hit the server for that changes.
