Hello everyone! I am a Siebel CRM Analyst/Developer and a complete novice in Adobe Flex and AIR space. We are trying to build a little desktop application (widget) for our Sales Team to provide quick access to important information by reading from Siebel Local database and presenting in Adobe AIR UI. I am struggling at the point of connecting to this Siebel local database (which essentially is a Sybase iAnywhere database file) using Flex Builder. Anyone here with little Siebel experience would know. Anyway, my problem sticks as to be able to develop a Flex desktop app that connects to this local database behind the scenes and show data. I know Flex inherently supports SQLite database but wondering if any other data source is supported and if so how.
