hi, currently this is not possible inside an AIR application, inside an AIR application this could have been a strait forward process using external interface API to give you the windows NT unsername and password details, inside an AIR application this could be hard though but possible as it is now running on your desktop and not inside your browser, i would suggest you to go through this thread which brielfy explains one of the ways to implement javascript communication inside your AIR application - http://thanksmister.com/?p=85 you can also follow an intresting discussion on AIR capabilities and dont forget to see the comments they might just end up explaining you the why(s) and how(s) on AIR capabilities. http://bhavin.directi.com/limitations-of-adobe-air/
