hi,
currently this is not possible inside an AIR application, inside an AIR
application this could have been a strait forward process using external
interface API to give you the windows NT unsername and password details,
inside an AIR application this could be hard though but possible as it is
now running on your desktop and not inside your browser, i would suggest you
to go through this thread which brielfy explains one of the ways to
implement javascript communication inside your AIR application -

you can also follow an intresting discussion on AIR capabilities and dont
forget to see the comments they might just end up explaining you the why(s)
and how(s) on AIR capabilities.
