The position will be based out of our Bangalore, India development center and parent company (Logix Microsystems, LTD). The new product line known as the Digital Media Reader Publishing Platform is based on JAVA and Adobe Rich Internet Application (RIA) technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for growth and hands on involvement with leading edge Web technologies in a well established and successful company. We have an exciting opportunity for a senior Flash or Flex Developer with strong OOP and UI design experience. You will be working with an agile development team to deliver rich internet applications as part of a high traffic service-oriented web based solution. In order to succeed in this small, fast-paced team, you must be capable of contributing to all levels of development. A solid background in OOP, ActionScript, SOA, and UI design are essential.
Responsibilities: • Deliver rich-internet application as part of a high-traffic service- oriented web-based solution • Work as “UI/Usability Engineer” to design and implement AIR and Flex- based applications • Write quality code for an interactive AIR/Flex/ActionScript 3 applications • Work with server-side developers to design optimal services to fulfill product requirements • Work with graphic designers to implement UI design elements • Utilize solid software engineering fundamentals to build high- quality, testable, sustainable software Required Skills and Experience: • Expert ActionScript3 development skills with Flash, Flex, and/or Adobe AIR • Experience using Object Oriented Programming and design patterns (MVC) • Experience working with both 3rd Party code libraries and Flash Components • Web technology knowledge and experience a must including a solid understanding of HTML, Cascading Stylesheets (CSS), XML, Web Services, and Javascript • Experience with revision control systems such as CVS or SVN • Knowledge of PureMVC, Spring or other J2EE frameworks a plus • Strong experience in design processes and software development life cycle • Experience working with Agile development methodology • Familiarity with data feed parsers and ad server networks a plus • Publishing Industry/newspaper or other media industry experience a plus About Our Company: Logix Microsystems, LTD. – http://www.logixworld.com Logix Microsystems Ltd. is a Full Service Software Development Company providing Business and Technology Solutions to blue-chip companies ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to prominent regional players in the U.S.A., Far East, Middle East and India.
