Hi If ur using simple communication between client and server, I recommend you to use HttpService.. which is simple and intuitive. If ur using complex Data transfer (ex: Action Script native native types and objects) then you have u use AMFPHP otherwise it is not necessary. But I always urge new developers to use it atleast once in any project for learning purpose.
