Job Description: Senior Software Engineer –UI Development Location: Xactly India, Bangalore, India
Responsibilities This position will be responsible for developing state of the art UI architecture, feature design and implementation. Responsibilities will include solid understanding of project requirements, scope of work, technology to be employed, and preparation of technical documentation, coding, unit testing, and working with architects, product management and the QA team during the testing phase. Requirements and Skills • B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree from a reputed institution. • 7+ years extensive experience in building web based applications is required. • 1+ years experience with Flex UI development is required. • Must possess strong knowledge and work experience in J2EE enterprise applications, JSP, Struts tag library, Javascript, DHTML and XML. • Past experience as a hands-on technical / team lead is desirable. • Must possess working knowledge and/or experience in building UI Widgets or components with Adobe Flex/Flash technologies. • Must possess and demonstrate a good understanding of user interface design, usability design and user experience design. • Must demonstrate a solid understanding of Java Web technology including Java Webservices and enterprise application architecture design and development. • Past working experience in onDemand / SaaS companies will be an added advantage. • Must have a thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. • Must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Must be adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks. • Must demonstrate positive attitude and flexibility towards tasks on hand.
