Yes Minal I'm using FDT, and anyways it comes with 30days trial.
Anyways, if you want to look for a absolute free editor, than I will suggest
- LINUX: GEdit with some plugins, which can couple compilers with the
editor
EMacs, awesome editor, but needs learning
- OSx: TextMate (Paid)
- Windows: Emacs, with bundled libraries to integrate compilers.
All the above needs manual integration of flex-compilers
