Hello Vijay Ans1: There is no built-in library by Adobe, to implement hashmap directly, but the other way round, you can achieve this by using Dictionary in AS3. Ans2: TextInput is an interactive UI, whereas other is static display componen Ans3: Stage is the application-area, where user/developer use to interact/draw the UI stuff etc for Flash-Player(If you used VB, than its almost like Forms) Ans4: Search livedocs, everything is given neatly. Ans5: Read about bubbling, capturing analogy. Ans6: Use events mechanism.
