Hello Ram,

A Sample Project is a good idea, make sure you have some sort of backend
apis to connect with, doesn't matter which language/technology/architecture.
try out catalyst etc to design your UI, do not foget to learn about FXG and
effects in detail. Also, Adobe AIR is very important as far as the
examination is concerned, specially when AIR 2.0 is out and has tons of new
features.

fantastic resource on flex 4 architecture and the framework improvements
that flex sdk has gone through, please be thorough with each and every spec
sheet given on this link.
