Hi Deepa, To answer your questions and concerns -
"the user shdould be able to adjust the column width, " what could be the other way for adjusting column width in your opinion?, dragging the column seems like the natural way, alternatively you can extend the datagrid and increase the width of the column deviders so that users can easily hook the devider and resize, would be a slightly better experience. "the user should be able to hide some of the columns if he wants." this can be done pro grammatically, you can modify the arraycollection, alternatively you can do this - http://www.actionscript.org/forums/showthread.php3?t=154229 "there shd be a feature to show few(15-25) rows at a time." you can enable data paging in data grid, more info - http://blog.everythingflex.com/2009/11/03/data-paging-within-flash-builder-4/ -Thank you, Saurabh http://blog.saurabhnarula.com/ On Tue, Dec 7, 2010 at 4:22 PM, abhishekchess1 <[email protected]>wrote: > Flex 3 datagrid giving this things, see flex 3 live docs > :) > > > > On Dec 7, 1:59 pm, kapilan Thangalakshmi <[email protected]> > wrote: > > try to see ADOBEflex3/datagrid .. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > On Tue, Dec 7, 2010 at 5:57 AM, deepa <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Hi, > > > > > I am looking for datagrid examples that are user friendly.
