There are still big companies preferring Flex over HTML5 for bigger applications. HTML5 is good for smaller applications. I don't know why to panic, when HTML5 specification will be out in four to five years from here. I talked to one of the Apache Flex Committer and he told me that once the Compiler code get into Apache, many of the hurdles will be sorted out. And infact the compiler code is in Apache. Lets hope for a bigger release/first release from Apache in the next month.
