You will work closely with the UX design team and other software engineers to create the front-end for our product as well as support our entire software product family. Responsibilities: Act as a primary developer writing well-organized Flex4.5 and ActionScript Work with our UI design team to transform UI specs to a reliable, fully-functional user interface Creatively resolve issues and improve user experience Work closely with the QA team to ensure that test plans comprehensively validate user interface Ensure that the software is properly documented Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering; Master’s degree a plus At least four years’ experience as a software engineer with focus on UI implementation Strong understanding of UCD Comprehension of visual hierarchy & balance, use of white space Strong hands-on experience with Flex4.5, ActionScript, JavaScript, MXML, Flash, HTML5, and CSS Knowledge of 2D and 3D API’s and concepts Experience with text concepts such as Unicode, internationalization, font rendering & metrics Experience implementing component layout with custom skins Skilled with implementation of interstitials (screen transitions, window tweening, drag and drop effects, etc) Experience with dynamically retrieving and parsing data in XML or JSON Solid skills in object oriented design Drive to innovate as part of a creative team Excellent analytic and problem solving skills -- *Anand Prakash* Manager - Resourcing R Systems Inc.
