Hi,
Can anyone please help me with this:
I need to wait for a remote call to finish before i proceed for laying
out my components. Based on the data that is recieved from
the remote call certain components are to enabled or disabled.
I believe, all the remote calls are asynchronous in Flex and to add
synchronous behaviour to this one work around is to have a
onResult function and then having the logic there.
But how to do if the application initialization has to start with the
call to a remote method, wait for the response and then proceed further.
