I don't run the list and really appreciate Steven's desire to keep "on
topic". So many list degrade to noise quickly. So thanks for your
explanation. XUL has a specific meaning to many as a specific language (as
does XAML and MXML) but if you are using it here it more generally as "XML
UI" language that is a big umbrella for MXML and many others. I think
having real exchange with folks deep in multiple XML UI languages is great.
But it might be helpful to consider the communication because it is easy to
conflate the concept of XML UI language (XUL) and a specific approach the
XML UI language (XUL). Maybe there is a better acronym for the former so as
not to confuse folks?
