Brandon,

This is great.

Can I send you our syn file, which may (or not) be more complete than the
one you have, and also our .tcl file? Would be great to have these in a
readily accessible place.

Robert

There is a technote out on the support site with the files needed to
integrate with Textpad.

FWIW, for our own fun, Macromedia Training creating an MXML syntax file and
clip library for TextPad. They are not absolutely complete, but pretty
close. Unfortunately TP doesn't support code hints or import of schemas, so
all this gives you is code coloring and a set of snippets for most of the
class library and some other frequently used odds and ends. I'll be happy
to zip and send these to anyone that wants them. Will probably post to
TextPad site at some point.

I just discovered the as much though tag completion seems to work but I
can't get any attributes / just the base tag. Too bad. I'm not a big fan of
eclipse (I'm probably the only person who doesn't like it much) so I'm going
to investigate creating a VS plugin. PrimalCode is also a kickass
lightweight IDE (especially for ActionScript development) so I emailed a
feature req to them too.

Brian -

I have heard on an other forum that Homesite doesn't like the
<prefix:tagname> format of MXML, and that it would mean a lot of work
to make it work (i.e. not just a matter of VTMLs).

I too am interested in this possibility, but we might have to wait for the
Eclipse plugin.
